Barack Obama has disclosed some of their marital challenges and spoken openly about the relationship with his wife, Michelle Obama amidst divorce rumours.
On Thursday, April 3, the former US president mentioned their relationship briefly while addressing students at Hamilton College.
“I am in a deep deficit with my wife” after 8 years in the White House”, Barack Obama revealed. I have been trying to dig myself out of that hole by doing occasionally fun things.”
Steven Tepper, the president of Hamilton College, was asking Obama some questions about his recent activities.
According to Mr. Obama, he spends the majority of his time working on the Obama Foundation and is currently drafting the second half of his presidential memoirs, which he jokingly compared to “about 50 term papers.”
Despite Barack’s claims that he is attempting to have fun with Michelle, the Obamas, who have been married since 1992, they have not been seen together much this year.
Barack Obama was spotted at a dinner in Los Angeles and at a LA Clippers game in March of this year without Michelle. Additionally, she did not accompany him to Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration or Jimmy Carter’s funeral.
As a result, people have been curious about what is happening, and some have even conjectured that they may have split off.
But Obama has clarified that, his busy schedules has taken all the time from him, hence, can’t hang out with his wife, Michelle.
