On the June 27, 2025 edition of ‘Epahoa Daben’ radio program, media personality Bismark Brown took a sharp swipe at President John Mahama’s ministerial team, labeling many of them as “bitter appointees.”
Speaking during a panel discussion about the recent wave of arrests and impeachment attempts targeting officials from the previous administration, Brown suggested that these actions were not isolated legal processes but part of a broader atmosphere of political tension and personal vendettas within the current leadership.
“Some of these appointees still carry pain and bitterness from how things ended in 2016. That bitterness is showing — in their actions, in their appointments, and even in their silences,” Brown remarked.
He linked his comments to the controversial Bank of Ghana layoffs and subsequent reinstatement of staff, stating that decisions at critical institutions appear to be politically charged or emotionally motivated rather than based on sound governance.
“President Mahama Has Got It; No Advice Needed Now”
Brown added that such developments may contribute to an environment of instability and erode public trust, especially when state institutions appear to be weaponized for revenge or political cleansing.
