Political analyst Victor Osei-Wusu has cautioned that some outspoken members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) could inadvertently push the party into opposition if their approach to politics does not change.
Speaking in a recent interview on Angel FM, Osei-Wusu singled out the NDC’s National Communications Officer and GoldBod CEO, Sammy Gyamfi, Ningo-Prampram MP and Communication and Digital Minister Sam George, and North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, as individuals whose style of communication and political engagement, he believes, may work against the party’s broader electoral fortunes come 2028.
According to him, while their voices remain influential within the party, their frequent confrontational and sometimes controversial political commentary could alienate floating voters, who are critical in determining the outcome of national elections.

He stressed that political communication must go beyond “scoring points” and instead win the trust and confidence of the wider electorate. Failure to manage this balance, Osei-Wusu warned, may leave the NDC vulnerable to defeat at the polls.
