The General Secretary of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Janet Asana Nabla, has taken a strong swipe at Ghana’s two leading political parties — the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) — accusing them of being responsible for the country’s economic and social challenges.
Speaking during an interview on Joy Prime TV’s ‘Prime Insight’, Nabla stated that if she had the power, she would “gather the NPP and the NDC and send them to no-man’s-land,” stressing that both parties have over the years mismanaged the country’s resources and failed to deliver on their promises to Ghanaians.
“If I had the power, I would gather the NPP and the NDC and send them to no-man’s-land,” Janet Asana Nabla said.
She accused the NDC in particular of wasting national resources and pursuing policies that have not improved the lives of ordinary citizens. According to her, the party’s years in government were characterized by corruption, poor planning, and misplaced priorities.
“The NDC has had several opportunities to govern this country, but what do we have to show for it? Mismanagement, unemployment, and growing poverty. They are not different from the NPP, who are equally guilty of misusing the country’s resources,” she remarked.

Janet Nabla further lamented the dominance of the two major parties in Ghana’s political space, describing it as a major obstacle to the nation’s progress. She urged Ghanaians to look beyond the NPP and NDC and give smaller parties like the PNC the opportunity to bring about real change and good governance.
“The NPP and NDC have taken turns ruling Ghana for over three decades, yet our people are still struggling. It’s time Ghanaians stop voting for them and consider other options. The PNC is ready to serve the people with integrity and sincerity”.
