Full List Of Nominees For The EA Sports FC Team Of The Year Have Been Announced!

On Monday, January 6, EA SPORTS FC revealed their nominees for Team of the Year. Both the men’s and women’s shortlists have been made public, and many of the top soccer players are on them.

Fans can vote on the more than 200 names on the nominee lists until Sunday, January 12.

The men’s shortlist, which is full of talented players, includes reigning champions Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The attackers shortlist includes 31 names, including Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal, Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe, Liverpool’s Egyptian King Mohamed Salah, and the highly sought-after Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres.

The Ballon d’Or winner leads the list of midfield nominees, and Yamal, who dominated Euro 2024 with Spain, is joined by fellow countryman Rodri.

The EA SPORTS FC Men’s Team of the Year nominees also include Jude Bellingham and Virgil van Dijk.

Stars to vote for in the Women’s TOTY include Lauren James and Aitana Bonmati.

Aston Villa’s No. 1 player, Argentina World Cup winner Emiliano Martinez, and strong Antonio Rudiger are also nominees.

There are eight England internationals on the men’s team, including Harry Kane of Bayern Munich, Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid, and Cole Palmer of Chelsea.

Several Lionesses of England are eligible to vote for the EA SPORTS FC’s Team of the Year on the women’s side.

‘Electric’ forwards Lauren Hemp and Lauren James are also nominated, along with defensive duo Alex Greenwood and Lucy Bronze.

Ronaldo Named The Best Player In The Middle East

Hemp is accompanied by Khadija “Bunny” Shaw, a teammate from Manchester City, and Mayra Ramirez, a Chelsea attacker who is also up for vote like James.

Another nominee is Alexandra Popp of Wolfsburg, who led Germany to Olympic gold at the 2016 Rio Games.

Pernille Harder and Brazil legend Marta are on the stacked midfield list, along with Spain metronome Aitana Bonmati, who won consecutive Ballon d’Or awards.

The men’s TOTY roster will be accessible in EA SPORTS FC Mobile starting on Tuesday, January 21st, while the final XI teams will be revealed and accessible in EA SPORTS FC 25 starting on Wednesday, January 15th.
