Ghana’s Economy Records More Than 4% Growth In 2nd Quarter

As per the Ghana Statistical Services (GSS), Ghana’s economy records 4.8% growth in the second quarter of the year. This is compared to a Gross domestic product growth of 4.2 percent recorded in a similar period last year.

Gross Domestic Product growth rate without oil and gas (Non-Oil Gross domestic product) for second quarter of 2022 was 6.2 percent which represents 6.6 percent in a similar time of 2021.

The Services sector recorded the highest growth of 5.2 per cent, followed by the Agriculture sector with a growth of 4.6 per cent and the Industry sector with a 4.4 per cent growth rate.
