Ghanaian Afropop, R&B, and Afrobeats musician Camidoh (Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie) made a very personal revelation on July 25, 2025, during an interview on 3Music TV’s Big Conversation: He felt the universe was telling him to submit to God.

He decided to put his music career on hold in order to concentrate on his faith and personal recovery as a result of this spiritual epiphany. He made the disclosure while talking about the process he went through to get his EP “Trustn God” out, which was released the same day the interview took place.

With a noteworthy collaboration with Stonebwoy, the EP, which consists of six tracks like as “Your Ghost” and “Ayekoo,” was motivated by faith, emotional fortitude, and personal grief. The project, according to Camidoh, is a reflection of his experiences overcoming obstacles like heartbreak and losing a close friend, which made him more dependent on spirituality.

According to the singer,

“The Universe Was Telling Me To Submit To God So I Took Some Time Off Music,” highlighting the sentiment of the interview.

The interview also aligns with Camidoh’s previous talks about therapy and mental health, which included a June 2024 Culture Daily appearance on 3Music TV in which he highlighted the importance of therapy in helping people get over heartbreak. His candor regarding these difficulties has struck a chord with many, enhancing the themes of faith and healing in his songs.
