Janet Nabla Accuses Mahama Of Secretly Adopting Her Policies

Janet Nabla

The General Secretary of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Janet Nabla, has accused President John Dramani Mahama of consistently stealing her ideas and policies since 2024.

Speaking on the Angel FM Morning Show hosted by Saddick Adams on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Ms. Nabla alleged that she first unveiled a key policy idea in 2024 ahead of the general elections, only to see President Mahama quickly include it in his campaign policies.

According to her, the President even went as far as posting the idea on his official Facebook page, presenting it as one of his own initiatives.

“When I announced the idea, within days, the President adopted it and added it to his policies. But even after taking it, he has not been able to implement it successfully,” she said.

Janet Nabla further claimed that this was not an isolated incident. She alleged that President Mahama had also taken other ideas of hers, including one related to addressing illegal mining (galamsey) activities in Ghana.

She emphasized that such actions undermine originality and genuine policy innovation in Ghana’s political space, calling on the President to acknowledge the contributions of others rather than secretly adopting their ideas.
