“American Idol” music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband were shot dead inside their Los Angeles home in a double homicide that has resulted in an arrest by police.
Authorities say that Raymond Boodarian, 22, was arrested and that LAPD officers do not think he is related to Robin and her husband. They also say that this was a one-off event.
One of the victims in a double murder that occurred inside an Encino home was identified as Robin. Thomas Deluca, her husband, was the other casualty.
When police performed a check on Monday, July 14, they discovered blood outside the house and discovered Robin and Thomas dead. After breaking through a window to enter the house, officers discovered Thomas and Robin dead from gunshot wounds to the head in different rooms.
Previously, an unnamed person was spotted attempting to enter the house, prompting police to be alerted. According to the caller, the suspect might have had a gun. According to the neighbors, someone phoned the police after spotting someone leaping a fence.
Before departing, officers inspected the outside of the property and discovered no evidence of forced entry. Despite circling overhead, a chopper was unable to locate the suspect.
