David Behr Is MTN’s New Chief Enterprise Business Officer

David Behr has been appointed Chief Enterprise Business Officer by MTN Group, with effect from July 1, 2025, and reporting to the MTN Group Chief Commercial Officer. Following the recent amalgamation of Converged Solutions and the Group Enterprise Business Unit into a single, streamlined organization, David will now serve as the leader of the Group’s integrated Enterprise Business function.

This comes after deliberate efforts to streamline MTN’s commercial operations were started earlier this year. By enhancing alignment across Go-To-Market channels and bolstering cross-functional synergies, the integration contributes to the Group’s larger goal of promoting Commercial Excellence. It puts MTN in a better position to offer complete, end-to-end enterprise solutions while enhancing its capacity as a managed services provider and systems integrator.

MTN Group Chief Commercial Officer Selorm Adadevoh responded to this appointment by saying:

“We are excited to welcome David to this new role as we continue to transform our enterprise business for the future. With his experience and leadership, we are confident that MTN will be better positioned to deliver integrated, next-generation solutions that enable Africa’s progress.”

David will now be in charge of the expansion and implementation of MTN’s enterprise strategy, which includes voice and data services as well as cutting-edge technologies like cloud computing, unified communications, cyber security, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

MTN Group Has Announced Changes To Its Leadership

David has more than 20 years of experience as a technology and telecommunications professional, having held high positions in several different countries. He oversaw portfolio transformation in several important markets while serving as CEO of MTN Converged Solutions prior to this assignment. His professional background also consists of leadership roles as CEO of Liquid C2 and Cloudmania, as well as Group Chief Product Officer and Group Chief Digital Officer of Liquid Telecommunications.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and a Master of Engineering from the University of Bristol.

This appointment reflects MTN’s ongoing commitment to fostering Africa’s progress through technology, innovation, and inclusive growth.
