According to DJ Cuppy, she now understands what it really means to live a life that is driven by purpose for Christ.
Born Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, Cuppy has gone through a submersion to affirm she is currently a full Christian.
Cuppy was given a name after being submerged in water, as she finally gave her life to God through a Christian sacrament. The purification has been completed.
In a number of photographs shared on her Instagram page, Cuppy was found between two white individuals in a huge basin being immersed with water.
The award-winning singer, whose hair was braided, was surrounded by a lot of people, including children who were watching the baptism process.
The excited Cuppy then posted:
“This summer, I made THE best decision of my life— to fully dedicate my life to God. Baptism isn’t just a ceremony; it’s a transformation. I am a new creation, reborn in His grace. The way to live is actually to die…”

The multiple award-winning DJ Cuppy is a disc jockey, musician and producer. She is the daughter of Nigerian businessman Femi Otedola who grew up in Lagos and moved to London when she was 13 years old.
