Reports say that the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle’s exceptionally anticipated show is being shot on a cannabis farm and has prompted discussions. The Duchess is venturing into the kitchen for her new cooking show.

Meghan Markle and King Harry are preparing to get back to Netflix with their new shows. However, there are rumors that Markle’s show will be filmed at a cannabis farm in California, so there have already been some conversations about the shoot.

There have been numerous reports suggesting that Markle’s upcoming cooking show is being filmed on a cannabis farm; however, this has not yet been confirmed with evidence. Page Six was informed by an insider that there is absolutely no truth to this. The show isn’t recorded on or close to any pot ranch,’ a source connected with the show told Page Six.

The tales have it that the 42-year-old Duchess was shooting her show on the weed field after it was reported that the venue of Markle’s impending show will occur in two areas in California: A home in Montecito which has a place with Tom and Sherrie Cipolla and another supposedly is a farm owned by the marijuana providing Van Wingerden family in the close by shoreline city of Carpinteria.

Apparently, Van Wingerdens are the largest vendors that produce weed legally around that area. However, Page Six has confirmed that the Duchess of Sussex is collaborating on a Martha Stewart-esque show that is around her newly launched lifestyle brand, Montecito Riviera Orchard.

The Cannabis Farm which is owned by David and Cindy Van Wingerden turned their flower farm into a marijuana mecca in 2015. The couple now deals with cannabis flowers and pre-rolled cannabis joints.

According to the website, Local Carpinteria residents filed 2340 odour complaints from 2018-2022, the neighbours also filed a class-action lawsuit against the two farms which were not related to Van Wingerden’s business but by claiming that their property values are being hampered because of ‘stench’ smell.

If this were to happen then Markle’s new show about the Joys of Cooking, gardening, and friendship could actually create issues with the local community if the matter comes up again.

The Sussexes are said to have signed two shows to Netflix, one about Meghan’s love of cooking and the other about Harry’s love of polo.
