
16 contestants for this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) have officially been unveiled. The “road” to yet another global display of Ghana’s unique cultural heritage is now clear.
The contestants were unveiled at the grand launch of the GMB 2024 on Sunday, July 28 at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoluem.
• Hatie will represent the Upper West Region
• Darkowaa for the Ahafo Region
• Nana for the Western North Region
• Minkaya for the North East Region
• Peprah for the Eastern Region
• Etiapa for the Central Region
• Owusuaa for the Bono East Region
• Awuraa for the Bono Region.
• The Northern Region will be represented by Maltiti
• Upper East Region by Hama,
• Western Region by Abena
• Afriyie will represent the Ashanti Region
• Makafui for the Volta Region
• Titiaka for the Savannah Region
• Naa Ameley for the Greater Accra Region
• Nana Yaa for the Oti Region.
The appointed Judges for this year’s event are: Dzigbodi Kokudosu, Janet Sunkwa Mills and Comfort Ocran.
According to the Judges, the standards keep going up every year, thus they are expecting a fantastic 2024 event with astounding culture with serious results.
“This year our job is going to be really challenging because these girls are smart. The winner would definitely have to have earned their place because it is going to be tough. GMB is a power brand and we want the Queen to be a power brand as well,” Janet Sunkwa Mills noted.
“They have a fantastic test this year and one thing that I am looking forward to is to see how their values as individuals show forth in everything that they do with their creativity, in how they project themselves to the public,” Comfort Ocran stated.
The event was attended by a number of dignitaries, including the Queens from the previous season, chiefs, and some traditional rulers from various regions.
