The event will have new competitors joining the court, including the UK, Liberia, Togo, and an extra country that will add to the lively competition.

The festival was officially launched on Thursday in Accra, with Yaw Sakyi Afari the Project Lead of the Africa Basketball Festival, hopeful for the best event ever. Eight participating nations will ‘cross swords’ to see who emerge the overall best.
